  The Call Nashville on Podcast
Hi All, we attended The Call in Nashville this weekend. It was a lot to take in. So much happened there. I believe we will see the fruits of it for generations to come.
If you want recordings to remember it by, or if you didn’t get to go, you can get it on the FIREKEEP podcast.
Keep The Flame!!!

Hey guys, I wasn’t able to attend but I did participate in the 40 day fast and watch on GodTV, I was wondering if someone could enlighten me on who the first worship leader was….he’s on the second part of the podcast, I missed the name that came up on the screen. Thanks!

Aaron, I will try to find out. What I loved about the call is the focus was not about the “artists” there. They were not even introduced by name.
While it was great to keep the focus on our King, it does make it hard to connect with their material.
I did find out that the song was written by Rita Springer. (angels gather round your throne…)
If memory serves me correctly, the guy singing it seemed latino, he was a larger build guy. Great Set!!!!
I will see if I can dig up any more info, but he was someone I had never heard before, so I don’t have any idea who he is.
July 10th, 2007 at 10:16 am
his name is Rick Pino
btw…there is something wrong with part 1 of the call….it won’t let me download it.
July 10th, 2007 at 2:37 pm
yeah me too. I really want to know who that same worship leader is.. I love that “your love is like the ocean song” if anyone knows his name please post it
July 10th, 2007 at 3:43 pm
Hey, thanks for the heads up on part one. I will re-post it…
Matthew, thanks for the tip letting us know who the worship leader was.
July 10th, 2007 at 3:56 pm
Matthew, Albert, try PT 1 again, I have made a tweak to the main podcast file. Let me know if it works this time… It it does not, I’ll repost it alltogether.
Thanks

still doesn’t work
July 11th, 2007 at 9:22 pm
We attended The Call, too! What was the title of the song sung by Ray Hughes’worship band with the words about our worship being a weapon in God’s hand. It was the song that followed the INCREDIBLE time of the shofar sounding. I cannot say anough about how glorious, powerful, convicting, beautiful and majestic God’s presence was that day!! May we, the Body of Christ, follow hard after Him, pressing in to know Him and be transformed & in turn, see Him change this world!!!!!
July 12th, 2007 at 7:09 am
Betsy, they were from Rick Joyner’s churhc Morningstar, but I do not know the name of the artist or song… here is a link to Morning Star’s store: http://store.morningstarministries.org/cgi-bin/morning/group.html?group=Music

Hi, was not able to be there for the Nasville call, but HAPPENED on this site yesterday. Whoever has put this together..WOW! My husband and I been playing the stuff on this site almost nonstop. Are we able to download onto a cd?
July 12th, 2007 at 4:46 pm
Peggy, you may do anything you like with it, provided it is for non-commercial use.
July 12th, 2007 at 7:32 pm
I wanted to know who the last singers were, the ones after the army of shofars. The girl sang with the drums, then she and the guy with the striped shirt sang the song, “Be praised, you who lived your life sinless.”
Does anyone know who they were?
Thanks,
Charisse

Hello:
this is my first time to this blog. Sweet. Thank You. I am blessed. I am wondering if you have the recording of the 2nd. artist who sang that morning. She has short blonde hair and I believe she is with child. At one point We were singing Halleluia and then Lou Engle starting speaking and said “This song is anointed…Pray!” I would like to hear that portion if possible. thank you so much for all the posts. I am very grateful for all the IHOP stuff especially.
July 13th, 2007 at 12:09 am
Will you be posting podcasts of the entire Call in Nashville? You have about 4 - 5 hours included in your Pts. 1 - 5, however I am so wanting ALL of it to hear over and over again. They transport me right back into the stands and into the spirit of God once again, just like being there and I want more!!! Can you supply all of the entire 12 hours???
thanks,
Linda
July 13th, 2007 at 5:46 am
Nicole, I believe that was Jenn Johnson (Brian and Jenn Johnson) I have posted everything that I recorded to the podcast.
Linda, As I was there with my family (2 small children) I could not record the entire event. I am sorry. This is just something I do on the side to help all of us Christians stay inspired, so I don’t have a team or a system in place to be sure it all gets recorded.
Much Love

I am answering Charisse’s questiona about the worship team that followed the sounding of the shofars. That was the Selah Project with Ray Hughes. You can go to their website- just type in “Selah Project”. And I found the answer to my own earlier question. The song they sang about praise being a weapon is God’s hand is a new, unreleased song. So, I guess we have to wait on that one! Come in power, Lord Jesus & awaken Your bride!
July 14th, 2007 at 12:02 am
Hi…my first visit here. I wanted to respond to the questions about the Selah Project. The girl singer is Ramey Whalen, and the boy is Brian Whalen. They have a myspace and you can download music. They are friends of mine and they could definately use prayers to get their new music out because it is gloriously awesome!

Hello!
I was changed forever at “The Call Nashville” on 7/7/07. I left with a new fervor for Jesus and am just so excited to see what He is going to do in our nation and in His church. I am SO DESPERATE to obtain a copy of this amazing event to keep and also to share with those I love. I do not have an ipod. I just need it on a DVD, VHS, or CD. The whole thing. Could anyone please help me??? If you can, please private message me or just reply here. Thanks so much in advance!
God bless!

Returning to add that I also do not have God TV, nor do I have a connection with anyone who does. I’ve even called them and they do not have copies of “The Call” to sell. All they could tell me is that it would re-air sometime this month. I would be willing to pay for a copy of the entire event as well as the shipping, handling, etc. I want to remember that day forever.

Man i wish i could have went, missed the email about it, WOOOOW!!!
July 15th, 2007 at 9:42 am
Hi, does anybody know how to download onto a cd? This stuff on this site is absolutely creating a thirst in my husband and I for more! Such good teaching and the music…how sweet!
July 16th, 2007 at 10:11 am
Timothy, thanks for your generous bandwidth. Your a blessing.
FYI Guys for those that missed it you can re-watch it as a Video on Demand for Free from God.tv You have to register ( it is free) but under Programming and under VOD. are the 10 episodes ( I am unsure about the other 2 hours.
http://uk.god.tv/Group/Group.aspx?id=1000013475
But is you are Tech savy, you can google for a Program called GETASF, it is a Japaneses program with poor documentation, but it does the trick, for recording, the Video stream, if you want to capture anything that is played over your speakers only, voice, music etc, Google for M3MyMp3 you can save as a wav or Mp3 with VBR.
For those that would like to see the 7 blasts of the shofar, With Ricky Skagss and the 300, here is Video my wife took, not the greatest quality( I was one of the 300, it was a true honor, it was incredible event, and will be very memorable, I have blown my shofar around the world, in Israel, Turkey and across America, but none had the power or the significance of being apart of the 300 blowing in unity and Harmony. The effects of the reverb over the speakers and the full force of the 300, WoW!

Ten hours of The Call: Nashville are available for watching here: http://uk.god.tv/Publisher/Article.aspx?ID=1000016383
If anyone might be able to record these onto DVDs and mail them to me, please contact me. I would pay a fair price.

Hi! I tried to read all the comments and make sure this wasn’t asked before, but I’m not sure if it was so. So if so, I’m sorry. First, awesome job! Thank you! Second, you know the guy who talked about his friend Stephen saying that if he knew that he would impact a generation then he would give his life… and then he died and that is what happened. Do you know the name of the guy who sang that, the name of the song he sang or anything about him?
July 18th, 2007 at 1:50 am

July 18th, 2007 at 9:09 am

Hi, was wondering if you had the session of Misty Edwards singing “come be the fire within me”? They kept singing it over and over. If you do, could you post it for us to listen to? We heard them singing it on God Tv and it was so powerfully annointed.

Hi All, more info on the “Selah Project”, Brian Whalen, and Ramey Whalen (now Ramey Hughes).
their myspace is here:
http://www.myspace.com/rameywhalenmusic
also Ramy posted the lyrics to the “Praises Rise” song and will be posting the chords soon.
here it is for your reference.
Praises Rise
Ramey Whalen (C) 2006
Verse 1:
My voice is the sound of a thousand bells
Hear me nations, hear Israel
My song is the water of the purest well
Hear me heaven, fear me hell
My dance carries thunder from the throne of Yah
Look at me, and know He is GOD!
Chorus:
Let our praises rise like a weapon in Your hand
Let our praises rise O God
Verse 2:
My hands hold the cure for every disease
They’re covered in blood and oil and leaves
My laughter and tears create things unseen
Atmosphere changes, God released
My worship is armed with spirit and truth
Sacred, accepted, pleasing to You
Bridge:
God of eternity, wonders and majesty
God of creation, ancient, alive in me
God of all nations, uncharted galaxies
God who is Spirit, alive in me

First off I love it. (the podcast) But can someone or you explain, how its legal to download copyrighted material. Unless you have permission? I know IHOP gives the right to copy anything from the pulpit. (messages) I know the music is copyrighted, the rest of the stuff I dont know whether or not its copyrighted, but since i rarely see anything thats not copyrighted i assume the rest of the stuff, exspecially the music is copyrighted.
I hate to be “that guy.” I would really love to listen to the worships sets, I was there at The Call. But i cant escape the conviction that its stealing.
If someone could change my perspective, wow, that would be great. Please, please respond to this, anyone. Thanks saints.
July 29th, 2007 at 11:12 pm
Hey TreadOnTruth I fully understand your concern. Myself, I have often had kids in my youth group (I am a youth pastor) ask me to burn CDs for them (because I buy all the latest stuff in worship). To which I reply I can’t do that it is stealing. I sometimes offer to buy them the CD of the song they want, depending on their financial picture. That is the way I handle it for recorded commercially available products.
As for the Call, it was a free event, with a conglomeration of artists. If someone were to excerpt a particular song and then try to sell that, I believe that could be in violation of copyright law.
However, the stuff on this podcast is not for sale, and it is extremely rough live recordings from the audience. Additionally a good portion of the stuff is not copyrightable content, only the recording of it could be copyrighted. Since I made the recording i would hold the copyright, if there were one.
Additionally prior to attending the call, I researched the list of approved and unapproved devices/uses at the call. They had none listed as unapproved. The stadium however, did list video cameras as not being permitted. However that was stadium policy, and obviouslly not policy of the call, because I saw many people with them. Regardless the stuff on my podcast did not come from a video camera.
Anyhow, if anyone in the administration of the call has any objection to my sharing the live recordings I made at the call, I’ll be happy to hear them out. I would also be happy to put their professional recordings of the call up on the podcast, the bandwidth I pay for on this server can handle it.
However these 2 things make me think otherwise:
1. there is no recroding of the call available for sale
2. the whole purpose of the call is to effect change in America, and the more people that have the tools to get the word out the better.
One final thought, this is just something I do as a personal ministry to help the body of Christ stay plugged in. I am just one guy and have no desire to profit from any of this. At some point I will probably have to sell firekeep.com t-shirts or something to cver costs, they can be crazy at times for all the bandwidth people use.
Hope that helps you with your quest to maintain integrity.
Keep the flame…

Hi all Ramey posted the lyrics and Chords of the song “Praises rise” on her myspace site. THANKS RAMEY
here they are:
The song that I sang at The Call on 7-7-07 has never been recorded. My husband and I are still working “toward” a CD project where we plan to put all of our newest songs and worship songs. We appreciate any prayers you can contribute towards the project.
I posted the lyrics below for you and I just added the chords as well! Formatting wouldn’t let me put the chords over the words but they are on the correct line and you can use your ear for the rest!
If you get to do the song please let me know how it goes and please pray that the Lord will provide a way for us to record it soon!
Blessings!
Ramey

Thanks for the response. I know your motives are honorable. Ive always thought the copyright was on the content and not the recording. Looks like ive got to do some research on that. Are those your recordings on the onething conference worship sets?
I was there with ya too. Where those recordings not copyrighted? ( I couldnt find them on the IHOP site )
I really hope they put The Call TN out on dvd. I’d spend a good 100 bucks for that. The prayer walk & the schofars where once in a life time experiences) What a long, exhausting, desperate, hot, great day of experience and encouragement.
Again, thank you… & God bless everything you put your hands too.

Will you have the session with Misty Edwards when she sang “Be the fire in my heart, be the flame inside of me” (end of Session 5 & Most of Session 6 from God.tv)available?

Hi, just want you to know how much we appreciate you sharing this with us on the website. We are in an area where there is not a lot of this and for us, these kind of things help fill in some of the hunger that we experience because of lack of…lack of finances, not having these in our area etc..Anyways, thanks for sharing and being a blessing to those of us who really appreciate it.

Firekeep! I am assuming you are the moderator on this site… and I was wondering if you could give me the links to the podcast from the Call in Nashville on 07.07.07. I wanted to make a DVD so that i could watch it again at my house, but I never got around to it. The original site that I got the links from took them down. So I would greatly appreciate it if you or someone on here could hook me up with those links! Greatly appreciated, and may God continue to bless you!

Ramey and Brian Whalen are often involved with worship at Word Alive International Outreach in Coldwater, Alabama. The church has recently begun making archives of its services available online - look through them and you’ll likelly find them singing. The other talent at the church is great, too. (Don Potter was there the last weekend of 2007). Check it out at www.waio.org, and if you’re down south, come visit. It’s just off I-20 at the Coldwater exit, just west of Anniston/Oxford. (Saturday night and Sunday morning services)
