It is the goal of FIREKEEP to inspire Christians to arise in the beauty of holiness and the splendor of His might. Let us not be found wanting in the day of his return, but let us be prepared with a well trimmed lamp and a heart full of His oil that we may join the bridegroom in the wedding feast.

The Mormons believe that Jesus came in the flesh - are they the true Church? The JWs believe there was a physical man called Jesus - are they God's true organisation?

You are only applying one of many criterion which the Bible gives? What about accuracy in his prophetic word? (Deut 18:20-22)? What about pointing us to the Bible (Isaiah 8:19-20)? You can't pick and choose...either be consistent or get rid of this challenge.

Hi, you left a comment on my site earlier...apparently suggesting that because no one has evidence that Todd Bentley has denied Christ as King and LORD... then we can't call him a son of Satan, as his works clearly show him to be.

If you are insinuating that if someone confesses Jesus Christ is the living Son of GOD then they are absolutely a Christian and not a charlatan or a son of Satan, you are forgetting that there are other instructions in the Holy Bible for discerning the lambs from the goats.

I am not a scholar by any means, but the Holy Spirit makes things plain to me -- especially when reading ALL things Christ Jesus spoke to HIS disciples.

Might I also note, Mr. Luce, that the demons that Jesus cast out of people while HE was on earth also confessed that He was the Living Son of GOD... Does that mean we are to trust evil and unclean spirits?

Mark 5 (New King James Version)

1 Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes.

2 And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,

3 who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him,[b] not even with chains,

4 because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him.

5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones.

6 When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him.

7 And he cried out with a loud voice and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me.”

8 For He said to him, “Come out of the man, unclean spirit!”

9 Then He asked him, “What is your name?”

Luke 4 (New King James Version)

31 Then He went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and was teaching them on the Sabbaths.

32 And they were astonished at His teaching, for His word was with authority.

33 Now in the synagogue there was a man who had a spirit of an unclean demon. And he cried out with a loud voice,

34 saying, “Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!”

35 But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!” And when the demon had thrown him in their midst, it came out of him and did not hurt him.

36 Then they were all amazed and spoke among themselves, saying, “What a word this is! For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.”

37 And the report about Him went out into every place in the surrounding region.
