5For our [preaching of the] glad tidings (the Gospel) came to you not only in word, but also in [its own inherent] power…

Why do we consider a gospel delivered only in words wholly authentic?

Perhaps the Author of the gospel itself might have demonstrated the proper method of delivery for His own message.
