I wonder what was it like to be part of the early church? Where your life was on the line, and Christianity wasn’t a spectator sport. Scary no doubt, but at least the Father’s presence was paramount, and there were many in the local body who desired to, and had the opportunity to share. That intimacy with the Father and His people must have been beautiful to experience. I wonder why we settle for so much less?

Jesus only did what he saw the Father wanted. The Father made power available to accomplish it. Wonder why we have little power? Hmmmmmm
