It is the goal of FIREKEEP to inspire Christians to arise in the beauty of holiness and the splendor of His might. Let us not be found wanting in the day of his return, but let us be prepared with a well trimmed lamp and a heart full of His oil that we may join the bridegroom in the wedding feast.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful note, Timothy. Before reaching the point of hearing about the pastor and his wife, I nearly stopped breathing. It's difficult understanding on this side of the world the magnitude of death and grief as a result of this catastrophe. But I praise and thank God that your friends are well. Thanks also for sharing the address for donations. I have a pastor friend in Haiti right now who flew in a few days after the quake to possibly retrieve a child in an orphanage he was sponsoring. To this day my prayers have been met with silence. I wait to hear from him.

God bless you for your heart and all that you do. May we see the work of God's hands move in good and glorious ways for the rebuilding of a nation so desperate physically and spiritually.
